We have a new hiring request from a client and they wanted to recruit a Full Stack Developer.

BUT, we rejected to work with them. Do you know Why??


The client wants the Developer to be based 100% in their office from 9am to 6pm every day Without Remote Work, and also needs to provide a Timesheet for attendance, so that they can "keep track of their work performance".


I politely reminded them that this is the Year 2021 after COVID-19, not even an IT Developer does not need to sit at a desk in an office to do their job effectively, but a Recruiter like us would NEVER accept a job that has Zero Flexibility or Remote Working possibility.


Most importantly, checking the timesheet has ZERO Trust and will definitely affect the performance and willingness of people to work for you. It is an extremely old style of management!
