I hired someone with ZERO industry background
I hired someone with a year GAP in their resume
I hired someone who did NOT even have Intern experience
I hired someone who needed to apply for a visa; and...
I hired someone who carries a different job title than the job they were interviewing for!
Why??
In terms of my HR experience, I think they are better hires!
Because I thought they would be an AMAZING culture fit!
Later I found out... they have been promoted two times!!
Sometimes people need a chance!
